Alameda, CA, September 29, 2020 – Center for Social Dynamics, LLC (“CSD”), a portfolio company of NMS Capital (“NMS”), announced today that it has partnered with Behavior & Development Center, LLC (“BDC” or the “Company”). Operating throughout Southern California and founded by Tiffany Mendez and Roza Valensi, BDC is a well-established, fast-growing applied behavioral analysis (“ABA”) services company specializing in home-based, personalized, evidence-based Autism Spectrum Disorder (“ASD”) treatment. Roza Valensi commented, “We are thrilled to join CSD, a premier ABA therapy provider, and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional services to our growing client-base.” Tiffany Mendez added, “We felt CSD was the right partner for BDC from our first meeting due in large part to our shared belief in putting patient outcomes ahead of all else. We also believe BDC, our patients, and our employees will all benefit from the support services and infrastructure CSD has to offer.”
David Peterson, Managing Director at NMS, added, “We are excited for CSD to have the opportunity to partner with Tiffany and Roza, both of whom will maintain active roles within the broader CSD organization, and we feel that BDC is a great strategic complement for the platform. The combination of the two companies helps further our ability to deliver on our original objectives of geographic expansion and increased scale while maintaining the highest clinical standards. We have the utmost confidence in Pete, Tiffany, and Roza to continue to execute on their stated growth plans across CSD’s numerous regions.”
In connection with the acquisition, BDC will benefit from CSD’s robust management team and infrastructural resources across numerous important focus areas including payor relations, information technology, clinical compliance, human resources, finance, revenue cycle management, operations, and business development.
